CFMOTO ASPAR TEAM Dominates Hungarian Grand Prix
It’s the very first time for CFMOTO Aspar Team to dominate race win both in Moto2 and Moto3 in one weekend.

The CFMOTO Aspar Team has kicked off a great Sunday of racing at Balaton Park from pole position. Máximo Quiles was the fastest in yesterday's qualifying and today he went into the race ready to fight for another victory after narrowly missing out on the podium in Austria. The Spaniard got off to a good start and led for the first few laps, setting a fast pace and trying to extend his lead over his rivals. Halfway through the race, Quiles dropped to fourth place due to a small mistake, but it only took him a few laps to return to the top three and continue his comeback to take the lead again in the final laps. The CFMOTO Aspar Team rider devised a great strategy for the final lap and waited for the right moment to overtake Perrone in the last few metres and cross the finish line in first place. With this second victory, Quiles has now achieved six podium finishes and is already in the top three of the Moto3 standings with only ten races completed.

His teammate Dennis Foggia had to work hard to recover positions in Hungary. The Italian rider started the race from the fourth row and was forced to make a good start if he wanted to catch up with the front group. However, he lost a few places in the early laps and did not have the same feeling as at the start of the weekend. Foggia rode part of the race alone and in the final laps he tried to recover to reach the top 10 in the standings. Unfortunately, the Italian was unable to catch up with his rivals and finished eleventh.

The CFMOTO Aspar Team started the Moto2 race from the third row of the grid. The two rookies tried to make a good start to get close to the leading riders. However, both David Alonso and Dani Holgado lost a few positions in the early stages. The Colombian rider found a comfortable pace that allowed him to overtake his rivals on each lap. Alonso, who was coming off a bitter crash in Austria while fighting for another podium, rode with great fluidity until he reached the top 5. In the final stretch of the race, he saw clear chances for a podium finish and increased his pace to continue climbing up the rankings. The Moto3 world champion was not satisfied with second place at Balaton Park after making up more than four seconds on the leader. In a perfect final lap, he emulated his Moto3 teammate Máximo Quiles to take the lead in the last corner and achieve a hard-fought and dream victory. This victory is the first for a Colombian rider in Moto2 and the first for Moto2 a rookie since Pedro Acosta's victories in 2022.

On the other hand, his teammate Dani Holgado also had to fight his way back up the field from the early laps. The CFMOTO Aspar Team rider was coming off his first Moto2 podium in Austria and, on this occasion, wanted to continue working to close the gap on the leading riders. The Spaniard maintained a good pace which, although not enough to reach the top 5, did allow him to enter the top 10 to finish in ninth position and remain the best rookie in the category.
