Andale! CFLITE hoping to inspire biking boom in Latin America with dynamic CFLITE DUAL launch

Early September 2025, and Mexico City welcomed a fresh sound. The CFLITE DUAL models were unveiled and motored around zones of the metropolis watched by a large group of media, CFMOTO dealers, representatives, staff and guests to mark the national presentation of these stylish and versatile new motorcycles. Almost 150 people attended the event to talk about the positioning and values of the CFLITE brand as well as evaluate the CFLITE 230DUAL and CFLITE 250DUAL: their accessibility and their prospects.

CFLITE continues to solidify its position as a sub-brand of the fast-growing CFMOTO company: world leaders in powered two-wheel and four-wheel (ATV, UTV, SSV) technology and products. CFLITE’s mission is to craft adaptable, appealing and affordable bikes to allow more people more possibilities to get in the saddle; this will be achieved through concepts like the CFLITE DUAL models that can be used for mobility as well as recreational use. For all the fun and thrills of motorcycling, the core component of mobility, convenience and commuting has to be a major attribute. This is the essence of CFLITE and is highlighted in the launch of the CFLITE DUAL line-up. These bikes exemplify the brand values through their technical prowess, their young and attractive design, the simplicity and also performance.

CFLITE DUAL machinery will carry riders to work, to run errands and to get from ‘A to B’ through a range of terrain, inclines and harsh weather conditions. For leisure they also boast the light weight, output and agility to make riding and gentle off-roading an enticing activity. All with economy and reliability at heart.

So, what does the CFLITE DUAL roster entail? A simple glance at the aesthetics of the bikes shows the slim design and character that indicates that they are ready for action.

Both the CFLITE 230DUAL and CFLITE 250DUAL are unmissable for style, inheriting CFMOTO’s design genes. The bodywork is minimal but shaped from design-thinking for airflow, cooling and wind deflection. Ergonomics prioritise comfort (the single, dual-form saddle for pillion passengers) but also permit the rider to move around the motorcycle depending on the ground and the conditions.

The 230DUAL houses an air-cooled single-cylinder in-line four-stroke with a compact and light build that will generate output beyond any other 200cc powerplant in the segment. CFMOTO’s experience with small cylinder, carburetted tech means the throbbing base of the motorcycle will carry the 230DUAL far and wide with tons of torque (16.5Nm@5500rpm) and plentiful power (10.5kW@7000rpm at peak).

The curb weight is 132kg and ground clearance measures 265mm with an 840mm seat height to encourage maximum usability for a spectrum of different ages, skills, genders and strengths. High standards for practicality include the nimble and compliant chassis and other small features such as a rear rack as standard (for securely carrying luggage or items), a standard USB port for charging devices and a 12L tank to ensure the longest possible journey.

The 250DUAL is available in two versions—250DUAL and 250DUAL ABS—and comes in three color schemes: Lime Green, Tundra Grey, and Polar White. Aside from being slightly bigger, higher and longer and heavier (with the same 840mm seat height but with a 13L tank) , it has a 249cc SOHC liquid cooled motor, producing a maximum power of 18kW at 8000rpm and a peak torque of 22.5Nm at 7000rpm, and brings upgrades in terms of electronic fuel injection and dual ABS for improved braking. Upside down forks, larger brake discs and a full LED lighting kits across the bike are other differences over the younger brother.

In Mexico City and for the launch gathering, the specs and purposes of the CFLITE DUAL models were spotlighted and were followed by a tour of the nearby CFMOTO factory to see the rationale and the construction process of these significant motorcycles.

Attendees were left convinced of CFLITE’s commitment to provide active and dedicated machinery for the local market and the needs of the community but also to wider areas in the Latin American region. Grasping a throttle for various aspects of day-to-day life has now never been easier – or more pleasurable – in this pocket of the globe. Watch out for more developments in the future!
