CFMOTO rolls the wheels on 2026 with new CFORCE models unveiling in France

CFMOTO emphasised the ‘‘Ride Beyond’ theme surrounding three startling new off-road vehicles with a multidimensional 2026 global launch in Nice, France this week. Almost 200 participants, including international media, distributors and industry personnel, gathered to learn about the company’s revitalised, robust and versatile ATVs. Covers were thrown away from the CFORCE C6 PRO, CFORCE C4 and CFORCE C5: new conduits to both adventure and opportunity.

The event began with Markus Ferch, VP of Sales Europe, providing an update on the structure and growth of CFMOTO. 2025 saw yet more success for CFMOTO, the company’s 4-wheel business also continued to grow and play an increasingly important role in the brand’s overall development. CFMOTO remains the #1 best-selling ORV brand in Europe. The renewed ethos towards four-wheels was summarised by Senior Product Manager Tristan Hipps, who outlined how the CFORCE range has catered to the needs and the thrills of customers for over two decades by listening carefully to rider feedback and addressing gaps in the market. He also introduced the new CFORCE C6 PRO, while Product Manager Jason Rutz presented the CFORCE C4 and C5, highlighting CFMOTO’s latest step forward in the mid-class ATV segment.

The C6 PRO, C4 and C5 have been made with a strong user-centric approach: the rider is at the centre of each product both literally and spiritually. The C6 PRO has been crafted to meet the most acute demands and, by virtue of its appealing facets, becomes the standard for the mid-class ATV segment. Billed as ‘a revolution built for the wild’, the vehicle promises an upgraded experience in almost every sense. The C4 and C5 move the bar onwards and upwards for ATVs that have already appeased more than 400,000 users worldwide. The new generation provides ideal options for farmwork, weekend utility and light recreation…but go beyond typical entry-level competition through their quality and dependability.

Rather than overload the audience with a list of specs and improvements, CFMOTO fashioned six riding ‘workshops’ in the vicinity of the launch that allowed the global distributors and media to gauge the characteristics of the three new ATVs in the best way possible. The areas were designed to simulate ‘real world’ situations and encounters.

The first riding section focused on acceleration. Here riders were able to appreciate the C6 PRO’s 196T platform, all-new 647cc Big-Bore DOHC Engine. The powerplant produces 54HP at 7500rpm and 57Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. It also delivers over 50 Nm of torque across a wide rev range from 3,500 to 7,500 rpm, ensuring responsive and stable performance under varying riding conditions. The C6 PRO reaches 0-60km/h in just 3.73 seconds so the vehicles were flying along. The C4 and C5 were not far adrift. The engine also features a DOHC construction for smoother and stronger output. The C4 counts on a boost from 31 to 33 hp and 0-60km/h can be achieved in 5.9 seconds for one of the best rates in the sector. The CFORCE C5 raises the stakes with 0-60km/h in just 4.3 seconds (or 5.1 for the slightly more docile Touring version) and is quite something for the 500cc segment of the market.

From power to poise. The ‘Forest Trail Crossing’ enabled more saddle time where users could appreciate the refined ergonomics, smoothness and stability through a diverse off-road route. The C6 PRO features a 48-inch chassis that is wider, more stable, more rigid, and with more carrying potential and is eased by superior suspension, ground clearance and a tighter turning radius despite the wider chassis. The comfort factor is hiked thanks to tapered bodywork and narrow leg grip area, tank scallops and added footwell protection due to the chassis design. The new C4 and C5 ergonomics could not be ignored either. The 192 engine is slim (leg grip is reduced by one third compared to previous models for even more movement), the seat has been thickened, the hand controls are more intuitive (and less taxing) and the 23mm handlebar grips are also pliant and comfy for long duration riding. The redesigned rear-facing exhaust helps prevent heat from radiating toward areas the rider may come into contact with and is another important consideration for hours at the controls.

Where there is fun there is also function. The ‘Trailer Towing’ test permitted riders to experience the working capabilities of the C4 and C5. Riders towed a trailer loaded with over 600kg of logs, highlighting the vehicles’ strong torque, smooth low-speed control and ease of operation such as shifting and winch use in a realistic working scenario. Both models are equipped with a towing capacity of 612 kg, giving users the confidence to pull heavier loads in demanding conditions.

These attributes of the C4 and C5 and the consistent handling of the ATVs came to the fore as well while clearing gravel, where the manoeuvrability, precise control and ease-of-use made the test more manageable than demanding. A 2500 lb winch with synthetic rope further boosts both vehicles’ operational capabilities for clearing obstacles and working in complex terrain.

Entering the ‘Rampway’ zone, the C6 PRO was able to show-off the new E-shift system. The mechanism didn’t only facilitate faster shift at a glide and enable easy shifting even on steep slopes, but also featured Range memory (which remembers the previously selected High or Low range and restores it when moving forward again after reversing, particularly useful in tasks requiring frequent forward and reverse manoeuvres), Transport mode (safe towing) and Mechanical back-up.

The ride-outs were a brilliant way to give hands-on mileage of CFMOTO’s newest gains with CFORCE, but the action didn’t tell the whole story. For instance, the C4 and C5 now have better fuel consumption (20% less), and a 25% increase in service intervals; the units are more efficient and save costs.

It was impossible to miss the C6 PRO’s distinctive ‘neo-brutalist architecture’ inspired design: the angles, edges, profile and intent are clear, as is the aesthetic through items like the dot-matrix lighting and LEDs. The minimalism does not hinder the comfort and functionality. This is an ATV that will work and then play; play and then work. Practicality comes from integrated storage compartments in the front fenders, easy-access fuelling, latest generation CF-CONNECT rack compatibility, a high mounted ultra-advanced 6.2-inch MMI TFT (with easy MotoPlay and CarPlay) and toolless removable side panels for service and maintenance. The C4 and C5 have been given 33% more load capacity (front rack with 40kg potential and 80kg on the rear with multiple integrated tie-down points). Maintenance has never been simpler with the quick-release panels.

Attendees and riders in Nice were pushing, pulling, throttling, idling and experimenting. They rode further and tapped boundaries with harder, smarter and more purposeful ATVs. Welcome to the next level of CFORCE.
