CFMOTO trembled the mountains with impact at 2025 Red Bull Romaniacs
CFMOTO joins the Red Bull Romaniacs, one of the most prestigious, globally renowned and challenging off-road motorcycle race events in the world.

Red Bull Romaniacs is one of the most prestigious, globally renowned and challenging off-road motorcycle race events in the world and CFMOTO joined the show for 2025 and the 22nd running of the annual gathering in Romania.

The company flooded the Adventure Ultimate and Adventure Lite categories for the four-day trek (after the town centre Prolog dash!) across sections of the south Carpathian Mountain range and around the medieval location of Sibiu. The terrain is a diverse and mind-boggling mix of trails, obstacles, rocks, water, climbs, descents and all manner of technical prospects across stages that can accumulate up to 180km in one day.

Thanks to Red Bull Romaniacs setting, hundreds of captive and passionate participants, thousands of fans and the new categories: 2025 was a ripe time for CFMOTO to get involved both against the clock and participation above it with branding and visual presence as a main sponsor.

Not only did the company join the event roster as a principal partner but supported 9 riders and assisted another 14 as they steered CFMOTO 450MT and 800MT-X motorcycles. The new Adventure Rallye divisions inspired a total of 23 CFMOTO owners and bikers from across the globe to head to Sibiu. CFMOTO therefore powered around 1/3 of the Adventure Ultimate and Adventure Lite entry list in a week that passed in warm and bright weather conditions.

The 800MT-X is already a midweight master thanks to the powerful 799cc, 95CV motor with 87Nm of torque, excellent electronics and ride modes to extend its versatility and reliability. Other characteristics like the large fuel tank and concentrated ergonomics means it is well suited to the criteria of the Red Bull Romaniacs’ faster and longer territories.

The 450MT breathes agility, light weight and capability for the task. Riders can count on renewed confidence and belief due to technical specs that ensure the durable bike will throttle through twisty sections while providing power and poise along the quicker zones. Bosch ABS, KYB suspension and a robust, grunty engine hint at the full off-road potential.

The 450MT was the star in Romania. In the hands of experienced campaigner Daniel Fernandez, a multiple national champion in Colombia for raids and off-road, both the bike and the rider managed a 3rd place finish in the Adventure Lite category. Also notable was top Chinese racer Yang Hu Tang, who was 5th in the same contest, and Andrea Goga, the first female classified with 450MT in P8.

“Finished Red Bull Romaniacs 8th in the Adventure Lite class on the CFMOTO 450MT:
ME happy! Thank you all for your encouragement and good thoughts,” she wrote in Instagram and after some long, hard days where the bike carried her through the toughest.

At the finale, Fernandez posted: “The top-ranked CFMOTO at Red Bull Romaniacs 2025: A motorcycle that suffered with me one of the toughest races in the world and together we survived and overcame it.”

As first-time participants from China, both Yang Hu Tang and Jian Li spoke highly of the event and shared their thoughts after completing the race.

Yang Hu Tang commented “It was truly an honor to complete the event riding the CFMOTO 450MT. The motorcycle performed exceptionally well, and I was deeply impressed by the beautiful environment in Romania, the challenging terrain, and the overall organization of the event. I’m sure I’ll be back next year!”

Jian Li, who entered the Ultimate category, also reflected on his experience: “The race was incredibly tough, but the experience was fantastic. I hope that more Chinese riders will have the chance to take part in such world-class international events in the future. Keep going, Chinese riders!”

Adventure Ultimate saw a mix of 450MTs and 800MT-Xs near the top of the order. Former motocrosser Julian Răduță took his 450MT to 5th while another MX and Enduro vet, Adrian Răduță, was 8th with his 800MT-X. Four other CFMOTO representatives found their way into the top sixteen.

As CFMOTO took on this mountain of discovery, the true spirit of the race was seen in the way riders supported and encouraged each other throughout the challenge—CFMOTO riders truly experienced more together.

CFMOTO found the dedication and the fandom for the event, the racing scene, and the adventure spirit of tremendous worth. Being part of RBR was not only about broadening brand awareness for CFMOTO’s strong off-road products but being able to connect tightly with the Adventure and offroad community. As a first throttle up this mountain of discovery, CFMOTO felt at the front of the pack! More to come in 2026!
