CFMOTO and Brembo Sign Long-Term Strategic Partnership to Advance Motorcycle Performance and Safety

Hangzhou, China, July 8, 2026

Premium braking performance and expertise will play a greater role in CFMOTO’s future development following a new long-term strategic partnership with Brembo. The union between CFMOTO, a leading company in the global powersports industry, and Brembo, a global leader in braking technology based in Italy, is more than a simple supplier arrangement: CFMOTO and Brembo will work together on the co-development of braking solutions for future CFMOTO mid-to-large displacement motorcycles, while also expanding cooperation in technology innovation, racing, brand development and talent cultivation. The two groups aim to deliver increasingly advanced products with higher levels of performance, control and riding confidence.

Talks successfully concluded this week in Hangzhou and the deal marks a promising international alliance with truly global scope. Both CFMOTO and Brembo focus on high-grade technology, thoughtful design, strict quality control, and reliable performance. The two companies believe passionately in the proving ground of elite sport: CFMOTO has been winning titles and Grands Prix in the Moto3 and Moto2 categories for the last three seasons of MotoGP while Brembo supplies tailored solutions and technologies across the MotoGP grid.

Under the new strategic cooperation, CFMOTO and Brembo will work together on braking system concept design and performance development from the early stages of vehicle R&D. By beginning system integration, calibration and validation earlier in the development process, braking systems can be better tailored to different platform requirements and real-world riding scenarios, delivering a more balanced combination of safety, control and performance. The jointly developed solutions will also support the wider application of race-derived braking technologies for future CFMOTO high-displacement motorcycles.

CFMOTO’s quest for even higher standards in braking technology means the partnership will support continued advances in motorcycle safety and provide riders worldwide with more reliable braking performance, greater control and increased riding confidence. On the track, the shared pursuit of results and technical feedback will further strengthen the CFMOTO motorsport program. With a shared focus on competing at the highest levels of racing, the two companies will also collaborate on motorsport activities and brand experiences. Brembo will become a strategic partner of the CFMOTO Talent Project, jointly supporting the development of the next generation of Chinese racing talent.

With over 50 years of presence in the world two and four- wheel racing championship, Brembo has confirmed its role as a technological benchmark in motorsport.

“Establishing a long-term strategic partnership with Brembo will further strengthen CFMOTO’s competitiveness and brand presence in global markets,” said Chen Zhiyong, Vice President of CFMOTO. “Brembo is recognized as a global benchmark in braking technology, with extensive technical expertise and practical experience gained through top-level championships such as MotoGP. We look forward to working together to deliver safer, world-class riding experiences to CFMOTO users around the world.”

“Our collaboration with CFMOTO is an important step in strengthening Brembo’s presence in the global motorcycle market and in supporting our mission as a solutions provider,” said Andrea Paganessi, Motorcycle GBU Chief Officer of Brembo N.V., “Through our technical expertise and high-performance solutions, we aim to be a trusted long-term partner for CFMOTO and to contribute to the evolution of premium motorcycle standards.”

This agreement represents another important milestone in CFMOTO’s long-term strategy to collaborate with leading global technology partners in the development of its future product range. It also marks a further step in CFMOTO’s evolution from expanding its global brand presence to building long-term global brand strength.
