2026 CFMOTO DAY stirs the fans as connection, community and the growth story continues

Multiple elements of a vibrant 2026 edition of CFMOTO DAY revealed the growing influence of the company this week. A large crowd of excited CFMOTO customers and fans, industry figures and media gathered at the exemplary Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit to celebrate the firm’s position and progress, their vehicles and validation and their speed and spirit. This marked the first time the event was held in southwest China.

Among the highlights, the 500SR was officially launched, while the CFMOTO V4 SR-RR—the first liter-class superbike developed by a Chinese manufacturer—made its dynamic debut in the domestic market.

TEASING THE TECHNOLOGY

The unveiling and updates of key new motorcycles took center stage. Chen Zhiyong, Vice President of CFMOTO, took pleasure in removing the covers from the CFMOTO 500SR.

Mr. Chen then increased the ‘revs’ with the presentation of the CFMOTO V4 SR-RR. This was a landmark moment for the company, a few months after the V4 SR-RR had been introduced as a statement-of-intent at the 2025 EICMA in Italy. CFMOTO DAY provided a chance to draw the bike closer to the public and bring the dream closer to reality. The V4 SR-RR is powered by a 997cc V4 motor and features a curb weight of under 200kg. The power-to-weight specifications will make the model an instant hit as well as a ‘troublemaker’ for the larger capacity sportsbike market.

CFMOTO DAY allowed the company to show the full expanses of a growing catalogue. An example came as the V4 SR-RR was followed by the new CFMOTO 150SC-F. The scooter was one of the vehicles on display for visitors to try and enjoy.

ROLLING OUT ON TRACK

CFMOTO DAY put riders at the center. The event featured a recognition ceremony honoring members of the community, with award winners invited on stage. As noted by Zheng Yinghao, Deputy General Manager of CFMOTO Domestic Marketing Center, the event has become a memorable experience for its fans.

The anticipated track parade drew many of the CFMOTO DAY attendees to Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit, with more than 300 riders taking part. Flanked by helicopters and smoke, the parade brought the atmosphere to a high point.  More than 700 riders also took part in the track sessions.

MEMORY MAKING WITH MOTORSPORT

CFMOTO’s motorsport program and ecosystem is something that began as an experiment and an idea and has flowered into a much bigger entity.

The company constructed a NEXT ERA zone to highlight its racing adventures with silverware, race machines and memorabilia. Championship trophies from the MotoGP series and the W2RC were on display, including the 2024 Moto3 Constructors’ Championship trophy—the first world championship title won by a Chinese manufacturer. And the 2024 Moto3 World Championship-winning bike, the 2025 Moto2 race bike, the Dakar Rally ATV, and the CF650i that made its debut at the Isle of Man TT were also under the spotlight. As were well-known riders, including Sun Shengbo, Du Xuanyi, and Antanas, who took time to mingle with fans.

Insight into the ‘CFMOTO Racing Talent Project’ revealed how CFMOTO are looking to invest in the future of national hotshots and help to lay a pathway through the levels of competition. The ‘CFMOTO Talent Project’ invited youngsters between 9-12 to demonstrate their skills with the winner earning a slot as part of the racing scheme. 2025 MotoMini champion and graduate of  CFMOTO Racing Talent Project Sun Shengbo appeared with the latest MINI25 Prototype.

It wasn’t all ‘show-and-tell’. Again, CFMOTO DAY wanted attendees to sample emotion at the closest proximity, so there were riding areas and other interactions like the ‘SR CUP’, ‘CFMOTO MT CHALLENGE mini’, and the CL-C ‘Slow Riding Challenge’.

BORN IN CHINA, FOR THE WORLD

CFMOTO DAY reflects CFMOTO’s will and desire to unify with riders, fans and customers both old and new. The annual fixture mirrors the company’s own trajectory of expansion, namely strong motorcycle and ORV performance matched with equally strong business acumen and results. In the first three quarters of 2025 alone CFMOTO reported revenue of 2.1 billion U.S. dollars, marking a year-on-year increase of 30.10%.  The company’s development, supported by a network of more than 7,000 dealerships across over 100 countries, along with manufacturing facilities in Mexico and Thailand and an expanding international R&D presence.

CFMOTO DAY cherishes its Chinese roots, but the event is now surrounded by a comprehensive agenda of other global initiatives like CFMOTO MT CHALLENGE and CFMOTO CLASSICS. CFMOTO DAY remains one of the flagship touchstones and symbolizes the company’s quest to keep users and customers at the core of the CFMOTO experience.
