
CFMOTO Aspar Team rider David Alonso has taken his third victory of the season at the French Grand Prix after an incredible end of the race. Alonso has started from pole position, but he has been overtaken by several riders in the first laps. The young Colombian has been able to keep calm in a race that has seen a very large group and he has waited until the last laps to show his cards. With three laps to go, the CFMOTO Aspar Team rider has made a double overtaking on Dani Holgado and Collin Veijer to take the lead. Holgado has returned him the overtake, but on the last lap Alonso has recovered the race lead to take his third win of the season. Holgado, who has led for most of the race, has finished second and Veijer has been third. With this victory, Alonso closes the gap to Holgado in the standings and is only one point behind the World Championship leader. Moreover, the CFMOTO Aspar Team is the new leader of the teams' classification. 

CFMOTO Aspar Team rider Joel Esteban has shone in the French Grand Prix race and has achieved the best result of his career in Moto3. The CFMOTO Aspar Team rider has comeback from sixteenth to fourth position. The Spaniard has shown a great pace throughout the race that has allowed him to reach the front positions and has finished just over two tenths off the podium. Esteban has been the best rookie at Le Mans and is eighth in the standings.

CFMOTO Aspar Team rider Izan Guevara has closed a positive weekend at Le Mans by achieving his first top 10 of the season. The Spanish rider has been competitive in the first laps, but as the race has gone on, he has begun to lose grip and has crossed the finish line in tenth. Guevara has managed to score points in the last two races and is satisfied with the progress made. His teammate Jake Dixon could only finish seventeenth. The CFMOTO Aspar Team rider had placed eleventh on the grid, but a bad start has conditioned his race. Also, after an incident with Senna Agius when he was fighting for thirteenth position, he has lost his front fender, which has impeded him from continuing his progress in the race as the tyre was getting colder.
