CFMOTO and the Spanish Aspar Team have reached an agreement to extend their successful partnership for five more seasons, through 2031. This new contract reaffirms the shared commitment of both parties to strengthen an alliance that has become one of the most successful in the MotoGP World Championship in recent years.
The Spanish team and CFMOTO joined forces in 2024, a historic debut season that culminated in the triple crown in Moto3: Riders’, Teams’, and Manufacturers’ World Championships. The partnership started perfectly, with David Alonso and the CFMOTO Aspar Team taking the top step of the podium in the very first race of the year.
Since that day in March 2024, CFMOTO and the Aspar Team have achieved over 40 podium finishes across Moto3 and Moto2, including 21 victories (15 for David Alonso, three for Máximo Quiles, two for Dani Holgado, and two for Jake Dixon). Furthermore, last season Dani Holgado earned the Moto2 Rookie of the Year title, while Máximo Quiles did the same in Moto3, finishing third in the overall championship.
During these first two seasons, the synergy between CFMOTO and the Aspar Team has strengthened CFMOTO's presence in the World Championship paddock and established the Aspar Team as a benchmark in the Moto3 and Moto2 categories for developing young talent. With this new agreement lasting until 2031, both parties look to the future with ambition, aiming to build on their sporting success and solidify a competitive project at motorcycling’s elite level.
Su Zhen, CFMOTO Racing Development Manager:
“After two years of working together, we have built a family-like relationship. We have pushed in the same direction—both during the World Championship and outside of competition—through projects such as training young Chinese riders and developing new bikes. This partnership has been a great success to date for both CFMOTO and the Aspar Team, and I’m eager to see what the future holds for us.”
Jorge Martínez “Aspar”, CEO of the Aspar Team:
“After these first two seasons with CFMOTO, we are excited to continue working together on all our shared projects. We are very proud to have given them their first World Championship victory and their first title. Last year we won races with three of our riders and secured both rookie titles. In 2026, I am sure many more great moments await us. This is only the beginning of a great story together.”
