In Moto3, the CFMOTO Aspar Team was back on the podium at the San Marino Grand Prix. Máximo Quiles completed a great race, in which he was forced to make a great start from the third row to catch up with the leading riders. In the early laps, the Moto3 rookie moved up to third position. However, he saw the first and second place riders increase their lead by almost a second. Quiles gave his all to close the gap and, halfway through the race, found himself involved in an intense battle for the podium spots. With five laps to go, the group was reduced to just four riders and, just before the final lap, Máximo Quiles moved into first position to start the last lap in the lead. The CFMOTO Aspar Team rider fought side by side with the Moto3 leader until the end, trying to maintain his position until he crossed the finish line in a hard-fought second place and secured his sixth seventh podium in his first year in the category.
His teammate Dennis Foggia did not have the same luck in his home Grand Prix. The Italian did not feel comfortable in the Misano race and was unable to finish the weekend as he would have liked. The CFMOTO Aspar Team rider lost a few places in the race and wanted to secure a position in the points, crossing the finish line in thirteenth place.
While in Moto2, Dani Holgado achieved his second consecutive podium finish, his third in just four races. Dani Holgado started the Moto2 race from pole position for the second time in a row. The CFMOTO Aspar rider tried to make a good start, but fell to second place in the early stages. The rookie in the intermediate category focused on keeping up with the leader's high pace during the race, which was no easy task, but he managed to do so until the final laps. Holgado remained in second place but, with four laps to go, he was overtaken by another rival. The Spaniard decided to hold his position and secure his third podium in the intermediate category, a well-deserved third place in a difficult race.
On the other hand, David Alonso went from strength to strength at the Misano World Circuit. The Colombian, who started the race from eleventh position, had some difficulty overtaking his rivals in the early laps. With steady progress, the CFMOTO Aspar rider climbed up the field to cross the finish line in eighth position and add another top 10 finish in a race full of learning.
